WVU Community Arts Program is offering a class in botanical drawing.
Botanical Drawing introduces students to foundation skills, materials, and techniques needed to create detailed and precise botanical drawings. Through easy-to follow exercises, students will learn to draw subjects accurately and to create illusions of depth in space. This student-focused class is open to anyone eager to learn drawing skills, from beginners to practicing artists. Skills acquired in this relaxing class can be directly applied to water color and color pencil paintings of botanical – and other – subjects as well.
