The DNR will hold the spring Becoming an Outdoors-Woman workshop April 13-15, at Stonewall Resort. If you have ever wanted to learn a new skill but have never had the opportunity to try, or wanted to take up an outdoor sport but were afraid to purchase all the equipment and then find out you hated it, this program may be for you. Women who are at least 18 years old can learn a new outdoors skill.
This workshop will offer classes that include archery, mountain biking, shooting, camping, fly tying, fishing, nature walking, self-defense and outdoor cooking, to list a few. Register now; the $200 fee covers lodging, some meals and some class materials. More info or to register: 304-558-2771 or firstname.lastname@example.org. The registration form can be downloaded at wvdnr.gov/hunting/bow.shtm.
