*2/21, 5pm:  Owl Prowl with Doug.  Doug Gilbert, Friends of Deckers Creek OSM/VISTA (and Avian ConservationCenter of Appalachia member), will be leading an "owl prowl" Thursday, February 21st (in the event of inclement weather the "owl prowl" will take place February 28th) at the West Virginia Botanic Garden. Individuals participating in the prowl will meet at the sales trailer near the WVBG at 5pm. To get to the trailer turn onto Imperial Drive, then take an immediate left on Excalibur Drive.  The sales trailer will be on the left.  Before the prowl Doug will give a short talk about owls of West Virginia. There will also be a presentation from ACCA's Katie Fallon featuring the Center's barn owl ambassador. Participants are asked to dress for the weather and to bring a headlamp (if you have a headlamp with a red light option, that will be best). The prowl should take approximately two hours. Interested individuals are asked to RSVP by emailing Doug at doug@deckerscreek.org.

Have a great weekend!

Debby
