Snake Fungal Disease

Penny Miller, from the Oglebay Master Naturalists and Director of the Good Zoo, has passed along a notice from the USGS National Wildlife Health Center about an emerging fungal disease in certain populations of wild snakes in the eastern and midwestern United States.  To read the USGS article and view pictures of the affects of this fungal disease on snakes found in the wild go to http://www.nwhc.usgs.gov/disease_information/other_diseases/snake_fungal_disease.jsp.
