August 29 Master Naturalist class at Percival Hall

Tomorrow we meet as usual for Sheldon's Habitat Improvement class, a core class.  Parking will be a problem due to a bar-b-que at the Forestry school.  Might park near the Ag Sci building and walk down.  Give yourself a little extra time.

Volunteer Opportunity at WVBG Children's Festival

Hi, Denise and Ellen,

You may already be doing this, but, if not,  I'd appreciate your publicizing the Fall Children's Festival on October 13 from 1-4 as a volunteer opportunity for master naturalists on the blog and at classes. We'll have the usual activities of pumpkin painting, nature crafts, good food, and building fairy houses. We will also be selling WVBG merchandise.  It will still be free, but I am adding "donations are appreciated" to the publicity. People who want to volunteer should contact Erin at erin@wvbg.org.

Thanks,
Barb
