Friends of Deckers Creek Events in April

From Hannah Spencer of Friends of Deckers Creek:

Hello Volunteers!

I wanted to update you on our most current schedule of events and volunteer opportunities for April. I'm excited for warm weather, spring flowers, and chirping birds!

April 13th -- Outdoor Learning Park Work-Day -- 10:00 - 2:00

We need volunteers to assist with weeding flower beds, spreading mulch, cleaning litter in the creek, and installing wildlife habitats.
April 20th --  Citizen Scientist Training -- 1:00 - 3:00
Would you be interested in helping FODC with water sampling once a month? Join us for a training on how to sample and learn why we sample. Please RSVP.

 April 25th --  8th Annual Spring Meltdown -- 6:00p—1:30a

Join us at the Morgantown Brewing Co. for a night of fun! The event will include a    silent and live auction and performances by Ben Gilmer and Sam Lamont and Halftime String Band.
April 27th -- Adopt-a-Highway Litter Cleanup -- 10:00 - 2:00
Our annual spring litter cleanup along Rt. 7 will start with a meeting at the FODC office to gather supplies.

That's all for now. Let me know if you have any questions!
