All riders will be entered to win tickets to the Big Pour
Come ride with us this Saturday, August 16th at 8:00 a.m. along Pittsburgh's beautiful Three Rivers Heritage trail and join in the fun of Bike Pittsburgh's BikeFest, taking place August 8th to 24th. Tour des Trees will serve as Tree Pittsburgh's annual fundraiser this year.

As you enjoy some outdoor exercise, you'll also learn about the riverfront ecosystem and current efforts to restore and protect it. Our guides will include ecologists and foresters, as well as Tree Tender volunteers who will share information throughout the ride. You'll also catch views of restoration work along Pittsburgh's hillsides, and we've scheduled a special stop to check in on our famous Bald Eagle nest!

For the seasoned rider, we've planned a 20-mile route along the Monongahela and Ohio Rivers. For families, we've designed a 5-mile, fun and friendly "Family Ride" along the Monongahela River. All Family Ride participants will receive an interactive route map that will allow children to track their stops with stickers and earn a prize at the ride finish. Every participant, no matter the ride, will receive a commemorative t-shirt. All riders present on the day of the event will be registered to win tickets to Construction Junction's Steel City Big Pour!

Registration is $20 for adults and $10 for kids (under 18). All proceeds support Tree Pittsburgh's effort to protect our urban forest here in Pittsburgh. The ride starts and finishes at the Golden Triangle Bike Rental (600 First Avenue, Pittsburgh PA 15219). Please contact Golden Triangle Bike Rental and mention "Tree Pittsburgh" for a 15% discount on bike rentals for the event (bike rentals are first-come, first-served).
