There will be a volunteer work day at the WV Botanic Garden this Saturday, July 18 beginning at 9:00 a.m.
and going until about noon. The main project will be pulling Japanese
stilt grass, an invasive species that needs to be removed in order to
protect native plants on the site. The work is easy pulling. You may
wish to bring work/gardening gloves if you have them. Dress for the
weather and bring water to drink.
It would be helpful to let George Longenecker know if you plan to attend (email@example.com).
