Discover Life WV

I am reaching out to inform you of the BioBlitz occurring on Saturday, October 17 at Coopers Rock State Forest. I am a graduate student of Dave Smaldone's and we, along with other students and faculty at WVU, the West Virginia Department of Natural Resources, the West Virginia Division of Forestry, West Virginia State Parks, and Coopers Rock Foundation are hosting the third "Discover Life in West Virginia" day. We want to encourage the local citizens to participation in this fun and hands-on research-based education activity that will help us discover and learn more about the natural resources at Coopers Rock State Forest. It will focus on birds, amphibians, and plants to name a few. If you or any other Master Naturalists would be interested in joining us, please let me know and I will be happy to send you more information on the day and our flyer. I look forward to hearing from you!
