Adopt-a-Trail at Cooper's Rock this Saturday

Thanks if you've signed up for Sierra Club's Adopt-a-Trail at Cooper's Rock and if you haven't signed up, here comes some info.
Emphasis this Saturday will be on replacing 2 planks on the bridges, clearing leaves and debris from drainage areas and widening the trail space under the power lines on the Intermediate X-C Ski Trail.  I'll bring the planks, hammer, drill and screws.  We will want rakes, long handled pruners and pointed shovels so bring what you have.  As usual, wear sturdy boots and have work gloves, water and snacks. Useful tools to bring are long handled pruners, rakes, pointed shovels. Adults and adolescents are invited to help and those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Volunteers will be required to sign a standard Sierra Club Liability Waiver ad a DNR Volunteer Work Program Agreement. Trail work is from 9-12:00 noon along a 1.25 mile loop that includes the Intermediate Cross Country Ski Trail.
Please contact me for directions and more info.

Happy Trails
